What exactly IS UKnightedXP, could you clarify?
We are a 501(c)3 nonprofit charity organization that offers consulting services at low or no cost that furthers our charitable mission of 'advancing the world through gaming, education, and charity.'
Why should donors trust your organization?
Our board and staff consist of world-class people, dedicated to our mission and community. UKnightedXP, Inc. embraces diversity and inclusivity, Veterans, people, family, and community of all walks of life and backgrounds.
What can your organization offer donors in exchange for a donation?
100% of donations go directly towards the advancement of our mission.
What has your organization accomplished to date?
Since concept in 2018 to execution, UKnightedXP has performed world-class, charitable services uniting others and building people through gaming and its' culture across the globe.
A few milestone achievements and numbers since 2018;
- Provided over 20,000 hours of service to nonprofits as consultants offering over $500,000 of consulting services free of charge.
- Conducted over $500,000 in work order fulfillments and requests for disaster outreach services in our first week of direct ground-based operations.
- Provided consultant services for more than 30 US based organizations, client products in over 23 languages, and influence in over 50 countries across the World.
- Assisted charitable organizations' marketing and funding campaigns to support charitable missions.
- Ran the world's first and only ad hoc EOC (emergency operations center), and DRC (disaster response center) led and managed by the gaming community for Hurricane Michael (2018), Ida (2021), and Ian (2022).
- Provided a turn-key event in collaboration with a college Bowl game supporting Gold Star Gamers. Our team raised over $60,000 in in-kind and cash donations to provide a fully funded, organized/planned and executed charity event.
- Facilitated and led local, regional, and national efforts to support Veteran Suicide Awareness and Prevention.
Today we proudly serve as charitable consultants, helping organizations and communities reach their potential through our charitable mission and purpose of 'advancing the world through gaming, education, and charity.'
Can you share one or two stories of individuals whose lives have been changed because of your organization?
Prior to filing in Florida, in 2018 some of our members and other volunteers who came forward, decided to collaborate with a NW FL nonprofit, HOPEPanhandle.
We elected to focus on work-orders that this nonprofit and the community at large was unable to handle. The first major order we did had a family whose child who was in spectrum. Upon learning that we were ‘gamers’, he made friends with our staff and volunteer team of 'gamers'. It was our very identity of being 'gamers' that brought us all together. Unbeknownst to our crew - it had been over a decade since their son had wanted to hang out with strangers. Our gaming alignment meant more than just disaster outreach; it was a bridge to bring others together. It was an identity. This event inspired both his family and us. We realized at that moment how very important gaming was.
A bridge to UKNIGHT others in community, gain experience points (XP) to 'level-up' and help build a better tomorrow.
Our mission was solidified after that event. We haven’t looked back since.
What are your organizations' goals this year?
In 2024 we are focused on several key areas that align with our five strategic priorities.
- Veteran Suicide Awareness and Prevention
- Workforce Development (Libraries, Workforce Training Centers, Technical Colleges, etc.)
- Fundraising to support growth and sustainment for 2024 and beyond
Why are your goals important?
Our mission and charitable purpose bring people together through a medium focused on community and the intrinsic aspects of play.
Play of all forms and types, regardless of the medium, has demonstrated the ability and potential to improve morale, stimulate economic growth, and facilitate ingenuity and innovation in every aspect of life so far as we are aware.
While we will never live a perfect life, at UKnightedXP we believe gaming and gaming culture is a life enhancement.
What would happen if your organization was not able to accomplish its goals?
If our organization is unable to accomplish its mission...
* Communities will operate at a reduced capacity,
* Organizations and communities will not be provided potentially critical resources and planning
* Society will miss vital cross-generational support and resources needed to aid as humanity seeks to navigate the V.U.C.A., ie chaos, of the information age.
Leaders of communities and organizations, as well as families, would ultimately receive less support and fewer resources to help navigate the rapidly advancing information age.
How can donors help other than making financial contributions?
Currently our PRIMARY needs for volunteers are;
- Chief Operations Officer (A Master integrator)
- Social Media Manager and Content Creator(s)
- Consultants - medical, engineers, financial, SEO, PsyD, Physicians
- Financial Planner and CPA
- Fundraiser/Event Planner
- Web and Digital Media Production
‘Geek’ supplies that might be of assistance for networking, marketing opportunities, collaborative opportunities, and anyway we can help advance our mission in a legal, non-partisan and ethical manner.
